THE STORY

Since the online campaign launch, Grapevine Marketing has been contracted to provide ongoing support of the website in addition to full-service inbound marketing services including: email, social media, blogging, search engine optimization, reporting and analysis.

Deliverables

Prior to working with Grapevine Marketing, Live Free and Start had no online presence or website. The initiative was officially launched in 2014 and had conducted initial advisory council meetings and roundtable sessions to determine the needs and concerns of the local high-tech business community. 

Research & Analysis

We assisted in pulling together key decision makers, tech entrepreneurs, and members of the startup community across the State of New Hampshire into focus groups to conduct market research. We also conducted an online survey of targeted respondents, and completed an analysis of similar initiatives and tech ecosystems across the United States.

Design & Development

We utilized this research and related public relations messaging to pull together an overall design and brand strategy to appeal to the target audiences.  We designed a website structure around action-oriented, simple calls-to-action and clear, obvious messaging.

Implementation

We built a mobile-friendly (responsive design) and interactive website on a content management system that would be simple for Live Free and Start administrators to update in the future.

We designed and developed a custom website and social media marketing channels to offer an outstanding user experience, entice relevant visitors to view and share content, and rapidly grow online engagement to build relationships.

We created a visual online presence that would appeal to the modern tech community while presenting a substantial amount of content in an easy-to-navigate format.

The website and inbound marketing campaign launched in April 2015 with accolades from state agencies, influencers, and media. Engagement continues to build as public relations, social media, and event-based efforts are used to support the mission and develop greater awareness with influencers and the media.

Website & Digital Marketing Launch

In conjunction with launching the website, analytics tracking was installed and advanced goal tracking was customized to measure key actions throughout the website and determine points of entry, most popular content and messaging, and key areas of opportunity.

Social Media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter) were launched with corresponding brand designs and actively managed to engage the community of entrepreneurs and tech startups. 

Outcome

In the first month after launching the website and social media channels, we saw very positive outcomes in traffic generated to the website, engagement on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and awareness of the Live Free and Start initiative in the target markets.
